Connie Hamilton presents: The Power of Metacognitive Questions
If students are to truly become lifelong learners, they must learn how to learn. This session focuses on ways that metacognition, thinking about thinking, can be embedded before, during, and after instruction to trigger students to reflect on their learning process – regardless of the content area. You will explore the benefits and limitations of content and metacognitive questions, so you know when to use which type of question. This session is sure to spark some “aha” moments.
